Ladies and gentlemen Porschephilles, allow us to bring an uber-special 911 R to your attention, one that raises a question which will certainly make purists angry. Extremely angry, that is.
According to Instagram gossip, the Neunelfer you're looking at could be dressed in Rosso Corsa. Of course, we can't be sure that Maranello's signature hue is the one covering the retro styling cues of this clutch special, but the sheer idea is enough to make Prancing Horse aficionados tremble.
Truth be told, another Instagram-delivered piece of info lists this shade as Rosso Red, but we'll move on to discuss the fact that this is one of the few examples of the 2017 Porsche 911 R that come with an unconventional stripe scheme.
As such, while the stripes covering the top section of the 500 hp beast, which have been a source of controversy ever since the limited edition was born, are missing, we can't say the same about the ones on the side of the Porscha.
In fact, the white side decorative elements match the hue on the wheels and we're expecting the color combo seen here to split opinions like few others - notice that the posterior of the Zuffenhausen animal is adorned with transparent taillights.
This 911 R was caught on camera while resting in Gstaad, Switzerland, with the rear-engined delight having been spotted in the Pichler garage.
Note that the R is sharing the area with at least three other Neunelfers. The ones closer to the red devil, namely the yellow GT3 and the Martini Livery GT3 RS, belong to the same owner. We're talking about Instagrammer alexisbve, who also happens to own a 911 R. Fortunately, the man doesn't treat his three-pedal Neunelfer like a garage queen, as he enjoys to engage in all sorts of shenanigans. The tire smoke is on the house.
