“Is There A Dream Left”, the 2009 Audi Motorsport Season Song

Music producer Leslie Mandoki was contracted by Audi AG to produce the song “Is there a dream left”, that will accompany the DTM Champions Timo Scheider, Mattias Ekström and their teammates during the title fight in the international racing series and also support the Audi drivers at the 24-hour race on the Nürburgring and the 24 Hours of Mans.

Mandoki is one of Germany’s most appreciated music producer, since he was internationally active, working for many German and international acts, including No Angels, Phil Collins, Engelbert, Joshua Kadison, Lionel Richie and Jennifer Rush. He also worked as a musical director for commercials, with clients Audi, Daimler and Disney.

The Hungarian-born music producer was contracted by Audi as the musical director for the market launch of the Audi Q7. This project got him close to the DTM scene as well and that is how the idea of producing a song dedicated to Audi’s racers was born, resulting in “Is there a dream left.”

“The song is a hymn of praise for the successful Audi drivers and motorsport,” explains Mandoki, who is a big fan of the DTM, motorsport and the Audi brand himself.

Bobby Kimball and Chris Thompson will sing the song, both known and highly appreciated for their vocal qualities. With this song, their voices can be a part of Audi's history, since the brand has the chance to become the first automobile manufacturer in the history of DTM to in the title for the third time in a row. Audi also has the chance to equal Ferrari by winning for the ninth time the Le Mans 24-Hours race.
