Man, they call this rapper in so many ways, we don’t even know how to name him. Is he The Dog Father, Snoopzila, Bigg Snoop Dogg, Dj Snoopadelic? There’s another thing we’ve been wondering, does the 43-year-old rapper drive at all, and if he does, what’s his daily whip?
One of the aftermarket shops we frequently follow has recently mentioned this customized Ferrari 458 Italia, and it appears to have been an image the rapper initially posted on his Instagram account. Sure, it may look like just another one of those things they do, but it hinted at a question we’ve been asking ourselves for a while: what is Snoop Dogg driving on a daily basis?
Believe it or not, Cordozar Broadus on his real name, once was the face of an automaker, namely Ford. The rapper was chosen by the American carmaker to promote their 2011 Explorer back in 2010, but there wasn’t much of that sort of collaboration going on after that. The automotive press was rather intrigued by the decision, and we’re quite sure it has something to do with Dogg’s lifestyle.
After all, the rapper has been an avowed cannabis smoker from the very beginning of his career, making it one of the trademarks of his image. In fact, he even has been certified for medical cannabis in California to treat migraines since at least 2007. We’ve always wondered how regular use of marijuana works with driving, but that’s a different discussion.
Getting back to the Ferrari 458 Italia in question, it appears to be wearing some chrome red wrap with black accents. The tinted windows and distinctive lights seem to complete a personalized interior, although there’s not much you can tell from this picture solely. If this really is Snoop’s ride, then it’s safe to say it has what it takes to be considered a rapper car. On the other hand, we always thought that Dogg rather is into one of those Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van.
