Is BMW Selling Husqvarna to KTM?

Is BMW Selling Husqvarna to KTM? 1 photo
Here's the latest rumor in the industry, telling about an imminent sale of recently brought-to-life brand Husqvarna. Bought just years ago by industry giant BMW, Husqvarna is rumored to change hands once more and go under the KTM umbrella.
Rumor comes from British respected motorcycle publication MCN. The MCN guys say they have inside sources which hinted to this move and claim that the negotiations are in the final stage. After buying Husqvarna from MV Agusta in 2008, BMW has invested a lot in the brand, and things didn't stop at revamping some old bikes.

Renewed production lines and all-new testing and research facilities have been built to allow the development of the new street bikes. With the Nuda 900 range, Husqvarna has made it really big in several rallies, including the 2013 Dakar and things seemed to be on the right track.

Now, MCN claims that sources in Austria, Germany and Italy agree that the final settlements are being discussed as we write and despite the silence from BMW, Husqvarna and KTM, things are to be revealed quite soon. KTM is also partially owned by Indian group Bajaj and we're curious whether Husqvarna will move East, too.
