iPhone 6S Survives Being Run Over by a Ford Pickup Truck

Every time a new, extremely overpriced phone comes out, some people feel the urge to try and destroy it. As a result, the iPhone 6 has taken one heck of a punishment this year.

People have stacked them in a row to see how many are needed to stop a bullet, burned them with flamethrowers and tossed them in the blender.

However, we're pleased to announce, there's one test the iPhone 6S passed with flying colors.

Unbox Therapy placed one mint condition golf iPhone under the rear wheel of a Ford F-150. The American automaker made the latest model using more aluminum than any other pickup, but it's still a big truck, not a Fiesta.

Despite this, the phone escapes unscathed. Several factors contributed to its survival, such as the fact that all four wheels disperse the weight and a rubber pad placed underneath stops the aluminum backing from being scratched. Still, it's an impressive achievement.

Some people would do anything to get the 6S for Christmas the year, but this guy treats it like it's an expendable piece of plastic. Such is the nature of Youtube entertainment in the year 2015.

Yes, the 6S is probably the best S model yet. However, it has enjoyed its fair share of controversy. Folks have discovered that battery life can vary from one phone to another. It all comes down to chip size, as, unlike previous iPhones the 6S can have two different processors (one built by Samsung and the other by TSMC). To make things worse, there's no way of knowing which one you've got until it's purchased and already people are calling it the iPhonegate conspiracy.

Something tells us the guy in this truck test video is also up to no good. Any driver knows that there is more weight on the front axle because that's where the engine sits. The rubber mat also helps by dispersing some of the force.
