Machines such as the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe are pretty hard to label. While the Affalterbach Coupe is too muscular to be a sportscar, you can't call it a supercar either. As for the grand tourer label, the size of the car means this won't perfectly fit it.
However, one thing about the two-door C63 S is certain - this coup goes like stink. Packing a 510 hp twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8, the machine delivers the kind of performance that will give you the giggles no matter what gear ratio you're in.

So, how does the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe stack up against a supercar? To answer this question, we've brought along a piece of footage showing a drag race that also involves a Lamborghini.

No, this isn't a Huracan, as a battle between the three-pointed star animal and the current incarnation of the V10 Sant'Agata Bolognese machine would've been too much.

Instead, we're looking at a brawl that pits the C63 S Coupe against a Lamborghini Gallardo - perhaps the driver of the Merc expected the generation gap between the two machines to make for an even battle.

Well, if this was the case, the Mercedes-AMG wielder was wrong. And that's because the Raging Bull wasted no time in its quest to leave the C63 behind.

And, if we zoom in on the specs of the two veocity devils, it quickly becomes obvious that such an outcome was only normal.

Keep in mind that the two went for a rolling start, which means the mid-engined exotic's all-paw advantage was out of the game.

Nevertheless, if we look at the power-to-weight ratio, we'll notice that the Huracan packs 2.9 kilos per kg, while the beefed-up C-Class Coupe burdens each of its horses with 3.8 kilograms.

The tables are turned when it comes to the maximum twist, where the naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 heart of the Lambo is no match for the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 heart of the Benz (think: 700 vs. 540 Nm).

As for the decivel side of the adventure, let's just say that the Mercedes-AMG didn't manage to disturb the vee-ten scream of the Lamborghini.
