Road rage videos have been the hype of Youtube for quite some time now, especially those filmed in Russia. Things seem to have died down now, people probably getting used to seeing all of this violence caught on tape.
And to be honest, we kind-of expected that from Russians. After all, they’re not known for their easy, outgoing character but rather for being butch and hard people that don’t take crap from anybody. What about Canadians then?
Well, they might as well be at the complete opposite end of the rope. If there’s one thing they’re known for it’s politeness and an easy going character that is more than welcoming. They might just be the most polite nation in the world. We haven’t had the time to perform a proper research that involves a white lab coat.
Unfortunately, they too have their own bad apples. One of them can be observed in the video below as he’s simply punching another fellow motorist in traffic because of some misunderstanding.
The whole thing happened in Vancouver, Canada, and was caught on tape by an unsuspecting driver that just happened to be in the vicinity.
What we can make out of the video is that something triggered this guy and somehow made him get out of his Chevy, walk up to the Volkswagen Jetta up front and simply punch the driver through the cracked window.
What our ‘hero’ didn’t realize though is that a police car was just across the street, dealing with some other issues. As the victim gets out of his car, his wife notices the cops and calls one of them over.
Initially, we didn’t think that he was going to be arrested but it looks like the policeman didn’t even hesitate and as soon as he lays his hands on the perp, he cuffs him. According to local media, the man was arrested but released later on. The bad news for him is that charges of assault are pending which means he will face trial. Let’s see if the easygoing character of Canadians will help him now.
