Introduced at the 2014 CES, this Chinese self-balancing personal transportation vehicle seems to take things one step further, as it brings forth advanced functions and excellent smartphone integration.

That is, the InMotion SCV R1 has been designed with embedded communication vectors with handheld devices, and offers remote operation. According to the video showcase, users can power it on using their smartphone and even drive the thingie to their position. And even though this feature has a limited range, it is still awesome!

The InMotion SCV R1 comes with a Lithium-Ion 72V 4Ah battery, but a 6Ah module can also be installed as an option. The battery packs are removable and make recharging quite easy. The estimated range is 20 km (12 miles) with a top speed of 15 km/h (9 mph).

With a weight of only 15.5 kg (34 lbs) and a modular design, the InMotion SCV R1 is a truly convenient green two-wheeler. Prices and availability for the R1 and R1S models expected in the future.
