Nissan luxury sub-brand Infiniti have been concentrating on the Chinese market for the last few months, realizing the huge untapped potential that is waiting to be exploited. However, their largest increase in sales comes from over 11,000 km away, the US - a market which has matured and is nothing like that of China.
Stateside sales of the luxury brand have increased significantly last month, by 66.1%, thanks to the 10,436 cars sold, marking the biggest spike in June sales since 2007. It is a really hefty increase, as the same month of the previous year only recorded the sale of 6,282 units. Yearly sales are also up, having risen by 15%, from 47,268 units in June of 2011, to 54,377 units in the same month of this year.

Their best-selling model is the G, which registered 3,923 units sold in June (48.5% increase), being followed by the M with 815 units sold (24.8% increase), the QX SUV (24.4% increase to 1,044 units) and the JX 7-seater crossover which, since its introduction in March, has sold almost 2,500 units.
