The New York International Auto Show is just around the corner, having been scheduled to start on April 4th. We’ve herd plenty of new vehicles making their debut there, including the 2013 Mercedes GLK and SL 65 AMG. Other SUV, like the X1, Cayenne Diesel and Hyundai Santa Fe are also expected, so a brand new electric car concept is something special.
Infiniti has such a concept, according to The Detroit Bureau, and it’s supposed to be a pure EV that combines the styling of the G-series coupe and the powertrain of the Nissan Leaf.

Reportedly, Nissan’s luxury division will have a much improved charging system that will allow the car to replenish its battery in half the time of the Leaf.

And unlike the Emerg-E Concept you see in the photo above, captured in Geneva earlier this month, the concept will be a preview for a production car.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
