Japanese luxury car manufacturer is making decisive steps for its entrance on the British market with the first Infiniti centre on schedule for the opening in September this year. The company has also appointed its partner in the UK as being Rymco, a subsidiary of Infiniti's partner in Lebanon.
In addition, Paul Atkinson has been appointed managing director of Rymco, following a number of years working as a franchise director with premium and luxury brands in the UK at Inchcape Retail and Jardine Motors Group.
The UK offensive will continue with the opening of more Infiniti centers in the country. The process of expanding the network is set to take at least two years, until the final goal of 12 centers is reached. Furthermore, Infiniti will provide VIP Service, which offers collection and delivery of their vehicle for annual maintenance up to 150 miles from the Infiniti centre.
As for the range of vehicles to be brought to the UK, Infiniti says the G37 Saloon, G37 Coupe, G37 Convertible, EX37 coupe crossover and the FX line will become available to British customers. In 2010, the Japanese manufacturer promises to expand the range with a larger saloon model and a new V6 diesel.
"As with the rest of Europe, the Infiniti Centres that will be operated in the UK by Rymco follow the IREDI concept (Infiniti Retail Environment Design Initiative) which aims to create a welcoming and hospitable environment for buying and servicing Infiniti’s performance cars. The architecture is energetic and modern, with an accent on natural materials and warm furnishings," said the manufacturer in a release.
