From the looks of things, this product is quite cool in appearance, but it will a long while before we get to see it on the road. Meant to “extend the potential for high performance, low emission electric cars,” the yet unnamed concept is powered by an electric motor, but also has a range extender to deal with your range anxiety. Infiniti says the concept will officially bow at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.

The lines of the concept look very similar to the Essence concept that was shown in 2009 at the Geneva Motor Show. Rumors suggest that Lotus is behind the chassis development.
