Fresh from the clay modeling studios, Infiniti is about to show this amazing new concept called the Q80 Inspiration at the Paris Motor Show. We only have a photo of its hind quarters, but my God is it ever a jaw dropper. Best of all though, the concept has been designed with intent to put it into mass production.
Here's the quick tour of their idea: Mercedes sells a lot of CLS-Class four-door coupes and they make the brand stronger because they're so cool. So using its own design know-how, the company is going to put its own huge four-door into production and is calling it a Q80. Its name suggests this is actually their much-anticipated flagship, sitting abouve the Q70 that replaced the M sedan.

The Japanese luxury brand certainly isn't pulling any punches in the size department either. Overall, this concept measures 5,052 millimeters (198.9 inches) long, 2,027 mm (79.8 in) wide and 1,350 mm (53.1 in) tall. That's right, it's noticeably bigger than both the Mercedes CLS and the Audi A7, both of which stop before they reach 5 meters.

"After showing Q30 Concept and Q50 Eau Rouge, Infiniti is eager to show the upper range of our portfolio expansion,"
said Infiniti Executive Design Director, Alfonso Albaisa. "In Q80 Inspiration, we wanted to capture that unforgettable feeling when you experience something important, something beautiful, something magnetic for the first time."

While we're thoroughly chuffed with the Q80 Inspiration's size and design, the marketing team's work caused a few giggles around the office. Apparently, those lucky enough to sit inside the Infiniti flagship will do so in "spacious "1 + 1 + 1 + 1" seating." What they're trying to convey is that each seat is separate, like on the Panamera and Aston Martin Rapide, but it actually came out like it's the Fantastic 4's airplane that splits into four pieces.
