Fitting a Bose sound system into a luxury car is something rather common nowadays, but Infiniti claims their recently launched 2014 Q50 sedan can deliver “a concert experience right inside the car”. All thanks to the latest Bose Advanced Staging Technology.
The new audio system has 14 high performance speakers, including three ten-inch woofers, that enhance sound pressure and create deep frequencies, and 11 speakers that are aligned to optimize the cabin’s acoustics. In this configuration, the system is said to offer a live concert-like impact to the driver and passengers. "For the Q50 specifically, the entire product planning team worked directly with Bose to create a signature Infiniti audio sound, and the Q50 will be the first vehicle that brings this sound strategy and experience to market," said Victor Nguyen, Infiniti product planning.
