Saillard previously worked as Sales Director for Nissan and has no less than 17 years of automotive industry experience, which makes him perfect for the job, as Infiniti said in a release. He will report to Vice President Jim Wright and his team will include Infiniti Europe’s Regional Directors and Corporate Sales departments.
In a release issued today, Saillard expressed his confidence that Infiniti's market strategy will lead to only good results in Europe, mainly thanks to the new product launches which are expected to quickly catch buyers' interest in the main European markets.
“Infiniti has already successfully launched in many countries across Europe. There are more to come not least the important markets of the UK and Germany. We are also about to enter the second phase in our product offensive with the G37 Convertible/Cabrio due for introduction in September, and then the M Sedan and V6 Diesel in 2010. It’s an exciting time to join the brand. Infiniti’s line-up and our retail concept are unique – we will continue to expand our European market presence," he commented on his decision to join Infiniti.
