Infiniti is extremely determined to show the world that it’s M35h full hybrid is a performance vehicle. Last year, the automotive producer gave the world a Nurburgring PR stunt using the vehicle and F1 champion Sebastian Vettel and subsequently cleared the vehicle’s way into the Guinness World Records archive as the world’s fastest accelerating full hybrid after achieving a time of 13.9 seconds on a UK track.
However, all that is European marketing, but the company is now moving to the US scheme, which, as you know, involves tackling the competition. Thus, Infiniti has recently launched a Youtube video that teases a drag race between a Porsche Panamera S Hybrid and the Infiniti M35h.
The clip shows the two full hybrid preparing for a race in what seems to be Death Valley, with the full clip set to be released on January 23. Checking out the two car’s more or less official o-26 mph and quarter mile times doesn’t bring a relevant conclusion, as the Porsche’s times are different depending on the source quoted, so we’ll just have to wait a few days to see the result.
