Indian Shows the Spirit of Munro Commercial

The fact the Indian Motorcycles are mustering their forces to start battling the Motor Company is no longer newsworthy. What is indeed new is Indian's latest emotional commercial, featuring the Spirit of Munro tribute bike, a sort of mental preview of their upcoming 2014 Indian Chief all-new machine to be unveiled in Sturgis in a month's time.
The Spirit of Munro honors the engineering genius and racing determination of New Zealand-based Burt Munro, also known as "The World's Fastest Indian", the man who broke the under-1000cc land speed record at the Bonneville Slat Flats back in '62, '66 and '67. Aboard his Munro Special all-custom bike, re-worked and re-engineered by himself, Burt showed the entire world hos fast can an 1920 Indian really go.

The new tibute machinery has been built by Jeb Scolman of Long Beach, California's Jeb's Metal and Speed workshop and was designed from the start to house the new Thunder Stroke 111 engine.

Aside from the highly emotional content of this video, we're looking forward to see the new Indian and only then think about modding it to enter the history books at Bonneville.
