Bajaj Auto, also responsible for manufacturing KTM's small-displacement Dukes, has announced that they plan to start selling their new Discover 100T motorcycle in foreign countries.
Initially developed for the Indian market just like the majority of Bajaj bikes, the Discover 100T (with T standing for Touring) will head in a couple of months to the first foreign markets in South Africa, Far East and Indonesia.
The Bajaj Discover 100T is a 4-stroke 100cc thumper producing 101.2 PS and 9.2 Nm (less than 7 lb-ft) of torque, and is intended for two-up riding. Bajaj adds that the Discover 100T is the first 100cc-class bike in the world to sport the dual spark ignition system (DTS-I).
No firm details on European and American markets has gotten out, but will all the small-displacement bikes stir and scooters making a comeback in the busy urban areas, we might see Bajaj in more countries in the near future.
