Being British and all, James Bond has always had a soft spot for British-made machines. When it comes to things on four wheels, his favorite brand is, of course, Aston Martin, although, granted, he was seen driving the products of other companies as well.
When it comes to motorcycles, Bond is, of course, best served with Triumph, with the Tiger 900 and Scrambler 1200 taking center stage in the most recent iteration of the franchise, No Time to Die.

But have you ever wondered what Bond would have liked between his legs had he been a CIA operative, or at least very passionate about American machines?

Throughout the decade-long presence of James Bond on our screen, the British spy was seen riding above Triumphs, but also anything from Hondas to BMWs. He was never seen on the back of a Harley, or an Indian, though, so that’s a tough question to answer.

If he were to ride an Indian, for instance, now that we’ll get a change of actor for the character, maybe this here Indian FTR S might be a right choice. It’s the work of the Germans from Hollister’s Motorcycles, and it’s even titled as one of Bond’s earlier adventures, Golden Eye.

Stripped of any unnecessary adornments, the FTR S seems built for hard riding. It comes with a touch of Hollister’s-made bits, such as rear fender (front one is an Indian) and side license plate, and a wealth of Indian-hardware, some of the aftermarket kind: fuel tank, handlebars, swing arm, and shock absorbers.

Now, a stock FTR S from the 2022 model year sells from $14,999, but this here 3-color machine, draped here and there in golden hues, could be a tad more expensive. To learn by how much you’ll have to contact Hollister’s, of course.
