Indian Motorcycles has unveiled their first custom Chief at the IMS in New York, a endeavor aimed at showing the world just how cool can the new generation of Indian bikes can be. And after looking intensely at these pictures, we kind of understand that there will be more cool things coming from Indian in the future.
The Indian Big Chief comes with a special in-house made girder fork made in billet aluminium, complemented by a sprung seat and adding just the right amount of retro DNA to the build. The fork uprights and cross members accommodate a 23" wheel and a custom-design valanced fender.
According to an Indian press release, the Big Chief Custom sports genuine accessories, "including the cam cover, primary cover, chrome grips and beach bars, and Stage 1 fish tail exhaust tips. Other custom accessories include War Bonnet Floorboard Pads, a Heel Shifter and chrome Rear Fender Bumper."
