According to recent rumors, the world’s famous hybrid maker Toyota could push the Camry Hybrid model into the Indian market.
We all know what the Indian traffic looks like and how much air pollution it generates, don’t we? And it looks like people there aren’t hybrid fans, as the Prius and the Honda Civic Hybrid didn’t caused too much of a fuss. Still, Toyota thought to give them another option to choose from, the Camry Hybrid.

The Toyota Camry Hybrid is powered by an electric/petrol hybrid drivetrain, which uses an electric motor to help the petrol engine as it’s needed. It can also run in full electric mode for a short period, pretty much like the Prius.

Visually, the Camry Hybrid will be differentiated from the standard one by the front grille, headlamps and the blue background Toyota logo. Also, the Indian version may not have the wood insertions garnishing the interior, while the instrument panel will get a battery charge indicator.
