Inden Design has once again targeted the Mercedes-Benz SL, offering an impressive modification areas that targets multiple areas of the range-topping S65 AMG model. We could say that the tuner somehow replicates the automotive producer’s “Black Series” treatment for the SL. However, the main difference between the factory stock SL65 AMG Black Series and Inden’s Black Series package for the SL65 AMG is the fact that the latter has kept its retractable metal roof.
The vehicle’s 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 powerplant has had its ECU remapped by the tuning company and has received a new exhaust system, now allowing its driver to play with no less than 680 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque.
The aftermaket developer has also removed the vehicle’s electronic speed limiter, but the company hasn’t offered the new value of the top speed - we guess it’s up to you to find out. If you do, please send us an email with the exact value at [email protected]
The list of tech mods is completed by an electronic lowering module that brings the vehicle 45mm closer to the road, as well as by a set of 20-inch lightweight alloy rims that use 265/30 tires for the front axle and 325/25 tires for the rear one.
Of course, the vehicle is dressed in a Black Series bodykit, also using a carbon fiber wing. As for the interior, this has received an Alcantara finish for the instrument panel cover. The same material is used for the flat bottom steering wheel.
