The past weekend provided us with two dramatic crashes during the warm-up of the Silverstone MotoGP round, with the Tech3 Yamaha rider Cal Crutchlow coming off his bike, soon joined by Repsol Honda's Marc Marquez.
Wipeouts in MotoGP are anything but rare, even for the premier class, but this weekend it was a terribly close call for several Silverstone marshals.
With Crutchlow's bike in the gravel and him looking alright, or at least alright enough to walk off the premises of the crash, four marshals rushed to pick up his bike and carry it to the pits.
Seconds after the bike was upright, we can see them running away... as Marquez' Honda comes into view almost flying, hitting the Brit's bike and ended up wrecked into the gravel meters away from the newly-bashed Yamaha.
Luckily nobody was injured, save for Marc Marquez who dislocated a shoulder during the crash. For a high-res version of the video you can check the MotoGP.com website: this video is free for watching but you'll have to register.
