From what we’ve seen over the years, through our various travels, as well as stories from other people and any other valid sources of information, the police still has authority in most of the world’s states. However, in Saudi Arabia, things are a little bit different. In Saudi Arabia, the police doesn’t chase you - you chase the police.
This is what happened recently somewhere in the country, where some typical petrolheads of the area had gathered for a spot of drifting and probably some light-hearted conversation, when the police comes to interrupt their ‘thing’. However, where normally they would have all dispersed, here they stand their ground, and in fact, drive the police away by chasing the cop car and ramming it repeatedly.
We had honestly never seen such an act, provoked by so little. Thankfully, the cops got a way, because there would have been a chance for things to take a turn for the worst if they had stopped and confronted the angry ‘petrolheads’.
