Ignorant Porsche 911 GT3 Driver Crashes on Track, Keeps On Failing

The man decided to take the Zuffenhausen machine to a track day, which, given the proper preparation, is a brilliant way of making use of the Neunelfer's potential.

However, if we judge by the driver's behavior, it quickly becomes obvious that he was anything but prepared to hoon the Porscha.

It all starts with him crashing the car. We can see the 991.1-generation GT3 entering a turn at a rate of speed that doesn't necessarily seem too great. However, due to a combination between an odd line and something that appears to be lack of steering lock, the machine ends up kissing the guardrail.

Note that the accident took place on the Zandvoort track in The Netherlands, with the said bend packing a respectable runoff area.

Fortunately, both the driver and his female codriver managed to walk away without a scratch, which is something we obviously can't say about the car. In fact, the Porscha took quite a bit of damage in the accident, as you'll notice in the piece of footage at the bottom of the page.

However, there's also a second phase of the trouble - it appears that the driver didn't put the vehicle in neutral while releasing the electric parking brake (the 991.1 GT3 only comes with a PDK dual-clutch) for the car to be towed.

As such, we can see the poor Porsche being dragged with its rear wheels locked. And while this part of the adventure kicked off on the grass, it also involved a bit of asphalt, with the resulting soundtrack being downright painful.

So perhaps this guy should learn to do his homework before even setting foot in a car like the Porsche 911 GT3.
