Iggy Azalea Just Bought a Mercedes-Benz G-Class

The Australian artist might’ve mopped the floors and cleaned hotel rooms in order to get to U.S. and follow her dreams, but all that hard work definitely payed off. Iggy Azalea’s latest big hit featuring J-Lo was yet another proof of the singer’s talent. And with success, there always comes a new car, of course. The 24-year old recently posted an image of her new black Mercedes-Benz G-Class she bought, on Instagram. In the US, Mercedes-Benz offers two models, the G550 and the G63 AMG, with the singer opting for the first.

Iggy’s family lived in a house that her father built by hand from mud bricks, surrounded by 5 hectares (12 acres) of land. Her father, Brendan Kelly, was a painter and comic artist, while her mother, Tanya, cleaned holiday houses and hotels. Azalea has said that her father “made her look at art as a teenager,” which has always influenced her life and work. She began rapping at 14.

In pursuit of her desire to move to America, the young artist dropped out of high school. She claims to have hated school, which, apart from art class, only made her miserable. In the end she managed to take up her singing career in America and the rest of the story you already know.

So you see, it’s no wonder she’s now enjoying the fruits of her long line of efforts. And the G-Wagon is what you’d call “the benchmark of fame” or something close to that anyway. It definitely looks like celebrities have to own one, especially ever since the Kardashians went crazy about Mercedes’ famous SUV.

That doesn’t mean, however, the G-Class is not one of the best SUVs on the auto market, and it’s over 40 years of existence speaks for itself. The car has so many features that it makes it exciting in both on- and off-road environment, providing very surprising performances just when you don’t expect them.
