This particular car was built in 1985 and its perfect condition and very low mileage are down to the fact that it was never raced, as it was the original Rothmans show car. The vehicle has been mostly used as a display car, and only a couple of times for demonstrations.

The MG Metro 6R4, which gained its popularity in the 1980’s, was the brainchild of Williams Grand Prix, who built it to compete in the legendary Group B rally class. It features a naturally aspirated 3.0-liter V6 engine, one of the few with this type of configuration because most of the cars competing in this super-fast rally group were equipped with turbocharged power units.

If this car hasn’t convinced you to go to the bank yet, just wait to see what other cars are going up for sale at the Autosport International.

Porsche fans will be able to get their hands on a 2002 996 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup with complete racing pedigree. The car was built for the Porsche Supercup Challenge and won two important races in its debut season, at Indianapolis and Silverstone.

After it was driven by Henzler Wolf and finished fourth in the championship, the vehicle has been stored by the present owner. The best part is that the car is race-ready and comes with a complete set of spare tires.

Ferrari makes some of the most desired cars in the world, so the auction has the right one for you - a 1974 Dino 246 GT. Because it has been in the same family for 36 years since 1979, the car comes with a full history file. It is expected to cost somewhere between $341,313 (230,000 pounds) and $393, 252 (265,000 pounds).

An amazing 1958 Aston DB2/4 Mark III that had only two owners in the past 29 years will also go under the hammer. This example is one of the 551 DB Mark III’s ever built and has been thoroughly maintained. This particular piece of British engineering is expected to cost between $192,916 (130,000 pounds) and $222,596 (150,000 pounds).

Other cars that are also hitting the floor on January 16 at the Autosport International include a 1982 Vauxhall Chevette HSR DTV, previously driven by Russell Brookes, and a 1977 Group 4 Ford Escort MK2.
