Idiot Drives G-Class at Over 200 kph (124 mph) in The City, Subsequently Crashes

There are a lot of videos of idiots in cars on the Internet. Honestly, they're as frequent as cat videos. But, once in a while, we come across something so utterly moronic that we have to share it. So, here's someone going over 200 kph (124 mph), in the city, in the rain, while filming with his phone! It went just as you'd expect, although a lot better than it could have.
That's an unsafe speed anywhere, much less in the city 5 photos

About twenty seconds into the video, things take a literal turn for the worse, and the driver flips the car when coming up to an intersection. The car in question is a previous-generation Mercedes-AMG G 63 and came out of the incident in relatively decent shape, considering the circumstances.

The driver was doing about 170 kph (105 mph) before he turned his phone to the side, so we can't actually see what caused the accident. There's no sound of screeching brakes so whatever happened, happened quickly.

Looking at the pictures of the aftermath, we noticed tram tracks, so we suspect that the tires slipped on the wet, smooth metal. Our European readers will definitely know how dangerous tram tracks are in the wet. We say "European" not to make it sound like Americans wouldn't know what we're talking about, but tram tracks are a lot more frequent in European cities, and a lot of times there's nothing to separate them from the driving lanes.

We don't want to perpetuate the stereotype of crazy Russian drivers, but this incident took place in Russia - where the maximum speed limit when driving in the city is 60 kph (37 mph), by the way. There seems to be a dangerous combination of powerful cars and total disregard for the rules of the road in that country. Also, city streets being a lot emptier due to the current health crisis gives stupid people an opportunity to put their stupid ideas into practice.

Unfortunately, we have no info on what happened to the driver or his passenger. The latter can be seen tumbling around in the car in the final seconds of the video, suggesting that he wasn't wearing his seatbelt. Another great idea to go along with the excessive speeding in completely unsafe conditions.
