The concept supercar looks stunning, featuring muscular organic shapes that mixes with sharp angled head/rear lights and airvents, all being complemented by the 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels, wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires.

Power is provided by two available powertrains, a V6 and much powerful V12 setup.

The V12 is equipping the street version of the supercar, boasting a massive 920 hp, paired to an electric-motor synchronized single-clutch automatic gearbox. Icona claims that with this setup, the car is able to do a standing 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in about 2 seconds.

The racing setup for the car ditches the V12 in the favor of a smaller turbocharged V6 engine helped by two electric motors, giving a maximum output of 870 hp, The petrol engine is powering the rear wheels, while the electric motors spin the front ones, giving the Vulcano supercar a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration of 2.9 seconds.

Top speed for both versions is said to be around 349 km/h (217 mph) and to stop such a bullet, the automaker has fitted it with six-piston Brembo ceramic brakes.

Icona hasn’t said anything about pricing and units per year production numbers, but we think that it’s going to be a very exclusive car, so expect a high six-digit figure for the Vulcano.
