At this year’s edition of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Ferrari delivered the very first Tailor Made car in the US, a white FF with custom interior built to the specifications of British golfer Ian Poulter.
If you’re not into golf and think checkered trousers are ugly, you might want to look away, because the interior of the Ferrari FF is covered in the same fabric as Poulter’s favorite pair of pants.
The British golfer received the keys to his brand new Ferrari from CEO Amedeo Felisa during a special evening event with over 300 clients of the Prancing Horse. He seemed very pleased with the end result, and the Ferrari, which could cary a full set of clubs in the back.
“Poulter chose a "Sabbia" triple-layer livery for his FF with the interior in black Poltrona Frau leather and tartan, a characteristic of his new collection. The boot in carbon fibre and high-tech fabric sports several elements from the world of golf like the tartan, used for the first time in a car from Maranello,” Ferrari says.
