Hyundai Verna To Be Launched In May 2011

Speculations concerning the launch date of the Hyundai Verna RB indicate that the model will make its world debut somewhere in May this year.

According to Rush Lane, the automaker has opened the bookings for Verna RB thanks to an SMS system that allows fans to book the car with a simple message that reads ‘Hyundai Fluidic’ to 53456.

Hyundai has the reputation for special attention and dedication regarding its customers as the Customer Care program may come in your assistance if you encounter difficulties when booking the Hyundai Verna.

The automaker also launched a website special dedicated to the model where everyone can log on and find out more details about the car.

Four engines, including petrol to diesel units, will be available for the car when it will make its official debut. The capacities for petrol powered engines will be between 1.4 L and 1.6 L with outputs of 108 hp (80 Kw) and 135 Nm (99 lb-ft) of torque for the 1.4 L power unit, whereas the 1.6 L engine delivers 124 hp (92 Kw) and 155 Nm (114 lb-ft)of torque.

The diesel power plants will also feature a 1.4 L engine producing 90 hp (67 Kw) and 224 Nm (165 lb-ft) of torque, while the 1.6 L unit could develop 126 hp (94 Kw) with a torque level of 265 Nm (195 lb-ft).

As far as design features go, the model features long headlights that reminds us of Audi, like design which should make the car attractive in order to take on its rival, the Ford Fiesta Sedan. The car is expected to enter various markets such as China and India as well as a series of european countries.
