This little Veloster that could is getting yet another limited edition model. This time, it's not something inspired by the SEMA Show, but an Australian-only run of 200 Veloster Street Turbo units.
There are a lot of little details that you'll have to read before making your mind up about the car. But we were blown away by the awesome photos taken of the car and decided they were worth sharing with the Hyundai fans.

Let's be honest, there's not going to be another Veloster. It's too strange and not popular enough. Hyundai has plenty of other crazy ideas its wants to try out, especially crossovers.

This is one of those value-rich special editions with "free stuff". It's based on the Veloster Series II SR Turbo + but it's said to pack $3,000 worth of extra goodies.

These include HID xenon headlights, 18-inch RAYS wheels with a satin black paint finish and 225/40 R18 tires. Things like the front grille, the mirrors, and roof pillars have all been painted black.

But our favorite change is the Dazzling Blue Mica paint finish. It looks really special from up close, but it might make you friends wonder if your new car has been damaged and repainted.

All of the 200 Veloster Street Turbo models that will be produced have standard interior goodies too. The seats have perforated black leather centers and blue bolster accents that are carried over to the doors and center console. Other updates include keyless entry with push-button start, cruise control, rearview camera, and climate control.

Power remains the same, unfortunately. The 1.6-liter turbo delivers 201 horsepower or, as the Australians put it, 150 kilowatts plus 196 pound-feet (265 Newton-meters) of torque.

If you live Down Under and fancy the Veloster Street Turbo special edition, know that it can be yours for $34,990 with a manual gearbox or $37,490 with the optional twin-clutch automatic.
