The Hyundai Veloster already comes with an unusual four-door hatchback layout, but the carmaker has taken this one step further at the 2012 Los Angeles International Auto Show, also almost taking the roof off the car.
The result is the Veloster C3 Roll Top Concept, which has a power canvas top that replaces the main area of the roof and a tailgate instead of a hatch. Hyundai has gone even futher, creating a bicycle concept that perfectly fits into the back of the C3 Roll Concept when the tailgate is opened.

The two unique vehicles share the paintjob: a white body with a red canvas top / saddle, baby blue rear wheels and black front wheels. Hyundai even explains that the name of the concept stands for “Convertible 3-door”.

"In convertible mode with the top rolled back, the C3 is a free spirit for driving along the Pacific Coast Highway. Roll the top forward, open the tailgate, fold the rear seats and the C3 goes into recreation mode - perfect for surfing, biking or kayaking," Hyundai tells us.
