South Korean automaker Hyundai came out with the announcement today that they plan to unveil a concept called the the HCD-14 at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show.
Looking at the image, it’s clear that we’re dealing with some sort of mid-size sedan, most likely a replacement for the Genesis, which is about two years away. The current generation was unveiled at the 2008 North American International Auto Show and received updates for the 2012 model year.
“Hyundai will debut the HCD-14 concept vehicle at the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The HCD-14 concept will give the automotive world a glimpse into future Hyundai premium vehicle design, advanced 3-D gesture-based technology controls, and spirited driving dynamics. The HCD-14 concept will be revealed at 3 pm EST, January 14,” the official Hyundai press announcement reads.
