Everybody knows about Hyundai’s 2015 Genesis from the Detroit Auto Show, but we’re not exactly sure people know about the company’s plan of bringing a new version of the sedan.
The guys from Hyundai seem to have come with the idea of combining their “HTRAC” all-wheel drive system, that was designed as a new option for the 2015 Genesis, with the V6 version of the four-door sedan.

Moreover, this idea could be moving on to the V8 as the company is considering making a performance-based version of V6’s sibling, the 5.0-liter V8 model. According to spokesman Miles Johnson, Hyundai believes that there is a market for such a vehicle and that people will actually take a liking to it.

Unfortunately, there isn’t too much info available nor has the production received a green light but what we know is that they are promising a much stiffer chassis on the V8 genesis.

Besides this, Hyundai also claims its new generation will incorporate numerous performance enhancements. This being said, we’re pretty sure they are going to do a good job as the company is no stranger to performance sedans.
