Hyundai is rather undecided about building a pickup, with the carmaker’s VP for international sales, Lee In-cheol, recently saying that it has to consider a truck for the US market. However, earlier this year, John Krafcik, CEO of Hyundai USA, had stated that the move won’t happen too soon.
Until Hyundai makes up its mind about developing a pickup, we wanted to show you the adjacent renderings, which give you an idea of what the vehicle could look like if it ever gets the green line.
Hyundai is active in most of the other segments and the success seen over the last few years means that the company won’t rush into approving the project. The carmaker shouldn’t be all that worried about market penetration and the reason for this is Toyota’s success on the American pickup market.
