When you hear the name of John Pangilinan, most would think of a guy that delivers full service marketing solutions. But Pangilinan can also customize cars for promotional use. That's why the following Hyundai Sonata is coming to SEMA.
What's called the Hyundai JP Edition Sonata will join four other customized Hyundai SEMA builds and it's going to make its debut on November 4th at 9 a.m. at the manufacturer's news conference in Las Vegas. But how can we sum this tuning job up?

Well, it's not your ordinary 2015 Sonata for starters. The custom widebody kit by LTMW and the custom vinyl art by Mr. 44 have something to do with the street art of Los Angeles, Pangilinan tells. Despite that fancy mumbo-jumbo, the finished result is looking very cool, especially those RAYS Gram Lights 57Getter 19-inch alloy rims wrapped in Toyo Proxes R888 rubber.

As for the interior, the JP Edition Sonata is boasting with Recaro Cross Sportster bucket seats and Katzkin leather, as well as a lot of V-LEDs lighting and the typical gazillion watt sound system. Although it's a mystery just how much horsepower this thing churns out, Pangilinan added a suite of go-faster parts to what seems like a Sonata with the 2-liter turboharged engine with 245 horsepower and 260 lb-ft.

Just to name a few of the highlights, we will mention an AEM cold air intake and a MagnaFlow exhaust kit, joined by a hot charge pipe from Bisimoto engineering. The chassis has been altered as well, with the addition of KW coilovers. It may not sound like much, but a tune job that's focused on handling more than on making 600+ ponies is like a breath of fresh air.
