One year from its launch across Europe, the Hyundai i40 has won numerous awards, and on it’s first birthday it managed to pick up another one. The i40 Tourer has picked up the ‘Company Car of the Year’ award in its segment in Germany, presented by Firmenauto and the vehicle inspection and appraisal organisation, DEKRA.
The award was judged by over 100 car industry representatives, with the i40 scoring top marks in driving performance, comfort and cost. The past year, the i40 won similar awards for estate and company cars in places like Portugal, the UK or Hungary.

“The All New i40 is a flagship vehicle for Hyundai – our first model in the highly competitive D-segment that’s designed and engineered in Europe, for Europe.  It’s quickly established itself as a true contender, celebrating its first anniversary by collecting another prestigious award – a great demonstration of our successful product localisation strategy,” said Senior Vice President and COO of Hyundai Motor Europe, Allan Rushforth.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
