Hyundai i30 Tourer - UK Pricing and Details

The new Hyundai i30, in both its hatchback and estate incarnations, looks very good, is quite nice to drive (for what it is), while also being an excellent family-orriented all rounder. At the peak of families’ interest is the ‘Tourer’ version of the car which has recently been given its price tag for the UK.

The i30 Tourer range kicks off at £16,195, for the basic 1.6-liter petro engine with 118 hp, in the base ‘Classic’ trim level. Further up in the range, we have Active, Style and Style Nav (range topping), with all levels of trim offering very decent levels of equipment for the price, with Style Nav offering Bluetooth, buttons on the steering wheel, dual-zone air con, LED DRLs, alloys, cruise control, parking sensors (front and back), automatic lights and wipers, touchscreen sat-nav and rear view parking camera. If that comprehensive list of options doesn’t satisfy you, you can pay an extra £750 over the £21,095 for the top spec car and add keyless go and engine start functions for the ‘key’. Should you want to spend even more money on your Hyundai, £1000 more adds a full-length panoramic sunroof, as well as full leather upholstery and heated seats.

Factor in the excellent legroom space, brought about by a longer wheelbase, and the 528 liters or 1642 liters with the rear seats folded flat is more than enough carrying capacity for all but the most numerous of families. This makes it one of the most spacious cars in its class, beating the Focus and the Astra. The car is built in the Czech Republic, alongside the ix35 and the ix20.
