Hyundai Grandeur Sedan Facelift Unleashed

Hyundai recently presented the facelifted Grandeur, a slightly revised model that is currently exclusively available in its domestic market. Also known as Azera in North America and other international markets, the sedan was upgraded by the South Korean manufacturer to align with its new design line already seen on some other models.

Just as the editors over at Carscoop report, the new Grandeur only comprises a small number of enhancements, most of them at the exterior. For example, the front fascia has been slightly revised and now includes new headlamps, adjusted bumper plus a larger grille that contributes to a more luxurious appearance.

As for the rear side of the car, the only changes you'll notice are the new LED taillights, the upgraded bumper and the tailpipes.

And these are almost the only changes available on the new Grandeur, a model that has been referred to, until the official launch of the Genesis, as Hyundai's most luxurious sedan.

There's no word on whether the South Korean automaker will debut an upgraded version in the US or international markets as well. Furthermore, the parent company hasn't mentioned whether the revised range includes upgraded engine but some minor tweaks aimed at fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are very likely.

At this time, the Grandeur is offered with a choice of three engines, one diesel and two petrol. The top-of-the-line configuration is the 3.3-liter V6 unit that develops 235 horsepower and 304 Nm of torque. It pushes the sedan from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds and helps it achieve a maximum speed 142.9 mph (230 km/h).
