Hyundai Genesis Coupe Video

Say that you are on the desert and you want to have a play with a new rear wheel drive car. What would pop up in your mind? A Ferrari, a Jaguar, a Porsche perhaps...

All that we know is one that would not pop up in your mind: Hyundai. But of course, you don't know about the constructor's latest creation. The Hyundai Genesis Coupe is a rear wheel drive coupe equipped with either a 2.0L Turbo or a 3.8L V6 engine.

The car looks a bit too like the Infinity G37 and apart from the badges, you could be forgiven for thinking that the constructors just swapped badges and went for a beer afterwards.

The manufacturer released a promo video of the new machine which does things no other Hyundai has ever done... powerslide. The setting for the movie is on the desert and someone slides the car gracefully through the environment.

The new car is a predecessor for the Hyundai Coupe/ Tiburon and has a very different reputation than the other Hyundai cars. They released the concept on November 14, 2007 and the manufacturer says that it is “the most emotional, most passionate car from Hyundai ever."

So, back to the video now... the car is colored in grey and has an automatic gearbox. The guy in the scenes looks pretty smug and proud, but that happens because he didn't see the car. The end scene features the same bloke leaving the car, but without looking at it, probably thinking it was a practical joke. A Hyundai that drifts...
