A recent press release coming from Costa Mesa has revealed to us another one of Hyundai's exciting tuning projects coming to this year's SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
Based on the Genesis Coupe, the concept car called "Legato" features a V6 engine that's been stroked from 3.8 liters to 4 liters.
Power is thus increased to 400 horsepower and 425 lb-ft of torque. The engine features JE Pistons and BC 4340 crankshaft, connecting rods, and ARK oil cooler. An ARK intake system and headers improve breathing.
To cope with the extra power, the engine and gearbox are now connected via ARK dual-mass flywheel and carbon clutch kit.
As for the body, ARK's aftermarket treatment targets front and rear bumpers, side skirts, deck lid and wide-body elements. For a sleek impact, they've painted the car in silver.
“The ARK Legato Concept demonstrates the compelling appeal and versatility of the original Genesis Coupe production concept,” said Mike O’Brien, vice president, product planning, Hyundai Motor America. “ARK Performance has taken this original concept and expanded its appeal to the most demanding premium coupe owners at a whole new level.”
