One of the automotive people that made efforts and managed to help its company navigate the agitated financial crisis waters, Hyundai co-CEO Steve Yang, is now resigning due to personal reasons, as Automotive News reports.
Yang oversaw Hyundai’s activity on is domestic market as well as overseas. As you can see from his title, he shared command of the company, with chairman and founding family member Chung Mong-koo and another top executive being at the helm.
His role will be split between Kim Choong-hu and Kim Seung-tack, with the company set to invest a new CEO. Yang, 58, is leaving Hyundai due to medical problems. However, he will keep an advisory role.
