Hyundai is continuing its long standing collaboration with ARK Performance for the SEMA show this year, which will take place from October 30 to November 2 in Las Vegas.
A very special car has been announced today, described as "ultra-high-performance track edition" of the refreshed Genesis Coupe R-Spec model.

The coupe’s brand new 3.8-liter V6 engine has been tuned to produce 395 hp and 340 lb-ft (460 Nm) of torque. This was achieved through a slew of ARK bits, such as a performance air intake, oil cooler, crakshaft and ECU map.

The car’s exterior is just as extreme as the body, featuring a full race-inspired carbon fiber body kit, featuring a massive front splitter, vented hood and a massive wing.

The Genesis Coupe’s stopping power has also been massively improved, with the addition of a six-piston big brake kit and ARK carbon brake pads and steel lines.

"The Genesis Coupe R-Spec is an ideal platform from which to build our SEMA track edition” said Ted Lee, owner of ARK performance. "The ARK Genesis Coupe R-Spec truly demonstrates the full track-tuning potential of the affordable Genesis Coupe R-Spec model. ARK continues to represent the ultimate in aftermarket performance tuning for Hyundai.”
