Hypercar Torture: Stuffing a Bag into the Porsche 918 Spyder

Comedian and car collector Jay Leno often complained that his Porsche Carrera GT is an impractical car to drive everyday. It seems that model's successor, the 918 Spider, is no better… which is probably why Leno bought a McLaren P1 instead.

In this next video, you're going to watch two women and two hotel bell boys struggling to stuff an oversized bag into the front storage compartment of a 918. If this were a Toyota MR2, it would be very funny, but abusing a million-dollar beauty should amuse anybody.

There aren't that many 918 Spyders out there in the world and we have a sneaking suspicion we've seen this one before. The "5 2988" number plate belongs to the Oakley Design model, tuned using a package called the "950-4', which bring total output up from 880 hp to 950.

The Kuwaiti customer received the car in London back in July and set about a long road trip through France. As you can see, it's currently on the South Coast of the country, in Cannes.

This video is the kind that leaves you with a lot of unanswered questions. Like: How did these weirdly dressed women ever end up behind the wheel of a Porsche 918 Spyder? And at what point did they think it's a good car to go shopping in?
