Husqvarna Launches 2012 Enduro Models

Husqvarna has recently introduced its new 2012 enduro range, comprising the TE250, TE310, TE449, TE511, WR125, WR250, and WR300, all sporting a a new look with new graphics, new black chassis and new silver wheels. Also, the TE250/ TE310 four-stroke models have a Kayabarear shock, a LeoVince racing exhaust pipe and an updated frame.

The engineers at Husqvarna have also worked on improving handling and engine response at low revs.

Its two biggest four-strokes, the TE449 and TE511, have received the most attention, and now sport a new one-piece read mudguard, black frame, new wiring harness, silver anodised rims, a reduced seat height (thanks to a 4mm shorter shock barber), revised engine mapping, graphics, reworked suspension settings, and a new WP radiator.

The TE250 and TE310 get a new Kayaba shock absorber, new handlebar clamps, the forks get a harder spring and new hydraulic adjustment, and there’s a new LeoVince exhaust system. In the new TE series, the Excel rims are anodised silver, and the new graphics are in-mould, integrated to the plastic structure, making them impervious to repeated power washes. The handlebar also has new clamps.

The WR125/250/300 two-stroke range sees less attention with the images indicating they retain the Sachs shock and cable-operated clutch. Receiving the same facelift as its counterparts, the WR300 continues to be a popular two stroke enduro machine, loved for its lightweight and power by average riders and pros such as Sebastien Guillaume alike.

Pricing and availability are yet to be announced by the BMW-owned company.

Meanwhile, Husqvarna is working on their new 900cc streetbike, which will come more as a supermoto-flavored streetfighter machine.
