Husqvarna Debuts Own Enduro Series in Italy

KTM Husqvarna is taking the first racing steps after the 2013 turmoil and announces the debut of its own enduro championship in Italy, the Trofeo Monomarca Husqvarna Enduro 2014, in collaboration with CF Racing.
Just like it was natural, the racing event is also open to Husaberg bikes. The calendar comprises 5 races, which span from April to September. The series kicks off April 13 in Foligno (PG ), with May 4 at Matelica, June 29th in Parma, July 13 in Gorizia with the Motoclub Pine Medeot and the grand finale on September 14 at Castelnuovo, in the mountains of Reggio Emilia.

Multiple classes have been established:

E1 - Up to 125cc 2-stroke , up to 250cc 4-stroke
E2 - up to 250cc 2-stroke , up to 450cc 4-stroke
E3 - up to 300cc 2-stroke , 450cc 4-stroke over ,
Under 23 - riders born from 1990 to 1997 and
Veteran - riders born in 1965 and previous years.

Dealer teams and guests are also welcome as two more separate classes, and each entry is €350 ($479) per rider and also provides a set of Michelin tires, goggles, 2 racing shirts, 1 t-shirt and 1 sweatshirt, a tool set and some bike lubricants.

The winners also get €1,000 ($1,370) vouchers for a 2015 Husky or a model manufactured from March 2014 on, while those placed in the second and third positions get €750 and €500 ($1,025 and $684) vouchers, respectively.
