“Color-coordinated” is the phrase used to describe this thing here, once a regular, boring 1989 Chevrolet Caprice. For the lack of a better phrase, we’ll go with that, but as you’ll see, there is much more to it than one would ever have thought.
Being in the business of digging out the industry’s finest and weirdest, we’ve seen some crazy builds over the years. Some, like the one of Edgerrin James we’ve shown you in September last year, and based on a Caprice as well, certainly broke the mold on weird. But it doesn’t even come close to this one here.

It’s not every day we get to say a 454ci (7.4-liter) Corvette engine and the six-speed automatic transmission that goes with it are not the highlights of a project. But in this case, it's exactly so.

The contraption you see before your eyes was handled by a shop called Spade Kreations. Boasting the tell-tale signs of a donk wannabe – chief of which would be the massive, 30-inch Dub wheels - it prides itself with the Hulk-themed airbrush on the body, so detailed it could outclass “some Marvel movie plots.” At least that’s what the description of the thing reads, and we don’t have a problem with it either, judging by 1. the complexity of the job, and 2. what Marvel has done in recent years.

The paintwork is said to have required a $40,000 investment, but the changes made to the Caprice are far from being limited to that.

Under the Cadillac SRX-sourced glass roof, the car hides an equally complex interior, with the story started on the outside continuing in here - color-coordinated, remember? The two seats inside can be accessed by means of scissor doors, each holding in its panels a flat-screen TV. The screens are backed by a no-nonsense audio system comprising 14 amplifiers, 28-speakers, and four 15-inch subwoofers.

This incredibly loud Hulk Caprice, despite the value of fitted hardware and work that went into it estimated at $200,000, is selling for $39,995. Depending on luck, buying it could be a stroke of genius, or a strike out.
