After almost three years of collaboration, Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot has recently announced two new Big Bang Ferrari racing watches, Black and Grey ceramic. The limited edition time pieces celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Big Bang collection.
Build on a 45 mm diameter chassis in black or grey ceramic, the sporty design of the new Big Bang Ferrari models is enhanced by a profiled aerodynamic dialog through which the movement can bee sighted. The movement is dominated by the distinctive Ferrari grille - a blackened criss-cross mesh which clearly reveals the main plates and the bridges of the movement.

The regular Prancing Horse sits at 9 o’clock, while the minute counter and date window appear at 3 o’clock in the colors of the Italian carmaker’s shield. The strap features a rhodium-plated finish for the grey ceramic and red varnish for the black ceramic. Similar to the Ferrari wheels, the oscillating weight is visible beneath the transparent sapphire case-back.

The case center incorporates push-buttons in titanium and rubber, fixed to a rotating staff like the pedals of a car. The leather strap features a red or grey livery with “striping” reminiscent of that found on racing cars. According to Hublot, both version of the new Big Bang Ferrari watches come in 250 pieces each and both have a 72-hours power reserve.

Still no word on the price for the new models, but previous Big Bang Ferrari editions would start from $35,000 so we’re pretty sure we’re talking about well-heeled buyers.
