Over across the Atlantic, the United States aficionados are staring at yet another forbidden fruit. And it seems that everyone has taken notice of the issue, from virtual automotive artists who immediately cooked up an M3 Ute alternative in hopes that the land of pickup trucks might get something like that to posh aftermarket outlets.
Speaking of the latter, here is a case in point. Vista, California-based HRE Performance Wheels, the self-entitled manufacturer of “the world's best custom forged wheels” has presented its vision of a U.S.-dwelling BMW M3 Touring that was rendered on the company’s series S1SC - S104SC wheels in Brushed Champagne with a Brushed Clear FMR barrel.
Naturally, the aftermarket outlet made sure to present the M3 Touring from an advantageous angle - aka, from the back, though fans still remembered the controversial front, nonetheless. Plus, HRE also poked a little bit of ironic fun at the German automaker by asking it nicely if they “could bring this to the United States” because it turns out they need a new high-performance ‘delivery van.’
Oh well, riding low on those stylish forged wheels might have fooled everyone into thinking the M3 was not even tasked with such mundane jobs…
